Video Support, and yes the Sidekick 3 is capable of it for those who doubt

I don't doubt. Many phones are capable of video, even ones that couldn't take it. Example the first Razrs.

i have a feeling it will be something really really dumb and pointless that will come on august 11th.

an OTA upgrade, i don't think so. It's too early. It's only been out for a month. This ain't windows where you need an upgrade every month. There are bugs yes, but we can live with them. The 3 and 400% stuff, it is obviously just 100% and will act like that even though the number is off. People just love to over dramatize stuff.

tmobile will send a message to your sidekick letting you know it is ready for an update...you would select update now and it would automatically send the new settings to your phone...sometimes there are silent otas meaning you wouldnt know you were getting a update but this mainly happens with regular phones excluding the sk3
