Hey guys, I ran into a little bit of problem while trying to setup the the password for the phone to ask user a 4 digit pin upon startup.

I know the master password, but I don't know the 4 digit pin. Which got me stuck on startup without being able to do anything. I've tried the factory default of 1234, but that doesn't work. I just got this phone from china so I am not afraid of just wiping everything clean if a way to do a hardware reset is possible. Please help.

doesn't entering the security code (usually 000000) allow you to reset the password without knowing it?

No it doesn't. It doesn't even have an option to enter the 6 digit security code.
