Hi,

Recently I bought a MOBILE ACTION - 620 irDa adapter and I wanted to install it on my computer, but I just can't get it to work right.

First of all, my computer (Win98) recognizes the adapter as a Network Adapter and not as an Infrared Port.

One time, the computer recognised the MA-620 irDa as an infrared port, but it would only install the standard drivers from the WIn98 CD. Then, when I try to install the drivers included on the cd from MA, the computer claims that "there are no installation programmes found".

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? If you need any more information, please ask cause I REALLY need help with this.

best bet would be to upgrade your os to xp

i have no probs with my ma620 and xp

Mine runs perfect with windows Me, thats pretty much the same as 98 I think. I would just uninstall everything and try again. Mine just installed itself if I remember correctly
