Motorola V600 camera

About 3 months ago the camera on my phone quit working. It only shows a black screen if i hit the camera button. Other than that my phone is working fine. Is there any way to repair this? I dont really want to pay $200 for a new camera phone right now. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I should say that there's a fine thread here showing how to disassemble a V600.
