E815 Contacts Help?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have an E815 from Verizon. I've searched manuals, forums and more trying to find an answer to this. If it's a repost, sorry.

I want to know if I can copy my contacts to the memory card, stick it in my new SLVR L7 from Cingular, copy off the memory card, and go, or if the only way to do it is through MPT and a data cable. If the data cable is my only option, is there any advantage (other than power) to the data cable that also charges? I do not have a data cable for this E815, so I will need to buy one. eBay or some other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

http://mark.cdmaforums.com - I believe his FAQ page has info on the cables. Get the Motorola charging cable, just in case - the price should be the same. I'd use ebay, and make sure to practice safe buying practices, as always.

Use MPT for your contacts - the TF card method is a no go, that's for sure.

EDIT: but the cable isn't your only option. Bluetooth works for MPT and contacts without hacking.
