Create a phonebook entry called Calling Card or whatever you want to call it. In the phone number area enter the 800 number or the local number of your card. After you enter the number, press and hold number 0 (zero) in the keypad until the letter P is displayed. After that you can enter your pin. Once you press OK it will bring you up to a screen with different little icon choices to better identify the type of number you entered. Choose the most appropriate one, or whichever you please, and save.
Call...
that's it
P.S. It is possible to store an entire call cycle, as in calling card, pin, number. Unfortunately, as a former Boston resident I know it won't work there. The limit on the digits entered is 30, and that includes the P-s too... If you were in a place where you wouldn't have to dial the area code for a local number, and the pin number was relatively short, you could squeeze the whole number in there by putting a second P after the pin
Just remember... once your calling card runs out of money (giving that is a prepaid card) you must go in and change the pin for the new card (giving that is the same card company)

Thanks for the great info. but is it possible after you call the calling card then to sellect a number from your phone book. Like in a nokia you sellect a number from your phonebook and then hold the call botton and then a few second later the calling card will be active. Can anything like that be done with this GD87? Please let me know.
