that's because it was designed for smaller resolution (proof: the menu screens are small-screen)
it was resized (manually?) to fit the QVGA 320x280 resolution

I don't know, if you're looking for SE w810i games, but as far as I know the w810i phone doesn't have QVGA (240 x 320) resolution - so this is the wrong thread to look for w810i games.

SE phones with QVGA resolution: w900i, S700 and the recent k800i (to name the most popular phones)

Thanks for the games, guys. Most of these games work well with ANY J2Me compliant phone with a 240x320 resolution. The 3D ones don't work on my Nokia 6265i, but I didn't really expect them to :P Keep up the posting guys!

I am so lucki i found you guys. It was a decision between the Nokia 6288 and the Sony Ericsson K800i. After finding this website, I chose the Sony Ericsson K800i. I have stocked up on games in anticipation of my Sony arrival. Just to make sure, most of these games will work on the SE K800i right? I mean, (i forget his username, Meta-something) who uploaded most of these games has a K800i. Anywayz, thankx guyz for all of the games. I think i speak on behalf of all of the forum guests. May I make a request? This request isnt just for me, but many other people on the forum. Obviously, the best mobile games are the 3D mobile games. So, can I ask if you can post as many 3D mobile games you come across? Nothing in particular. I've already downloaded the previous 3D games you have posted. Personally, I like Tenchu the best.

I now have all Fishlab games except blades and magic, planet riders and robot alliance. So, i request these games, if anybody comes across them. Also, I am looking for Fifa 2007. Robot Alliance is a 3D FPS SHOOTER ON MOBILE!! its the best game of the year. As a good thread, we need that game. Planet Riders is average, and Blades and Magic will pass, but Robot Alliance is too good to pass up... FIND IT PPL!

RULES SET BY MAKEMEDIA AND MEPHISTO2K which are quite smart in fact.
1. This thread is only for QVGA games which means 240 x 320 screen res. W810i IS NOT QVGA. If you dont have a QVGA screen and still wish to download games, GO AHEAD, JUST DONT REQUEST GAMES FOR IT. If the games just happen to work, good for you, if they dont, I'm sorry but look elsewhere. (he he I'm lucki, I just bought a K800i from Ebay not long ago, still waiting for it to be delievered. It was a toss up between Nokia 6288 and the K800i. Luckily, i made the right choice!) Also Sony is better as it has better ram and specifications etc. better for playing 3D games from FISHLABS!!
2. 1 Game request per day per person, tho I doubt u'll even get the game posted as this thread is becoming less and less active each day.

Most SE games with resolution of 320x240 can work on my v3x also 3d games,
but I didn't request them as they run slow without hardware accelration.

I have a program to adopt games for diffrent phones, so the controls will be the same, thats why most of the time I just need to get the right resolution.

I agree - this thread has lots to offer, thanks for making it a sticky. The games in here work well on most phones with a QVGA screen, I just wish people didn't feel the need to jump on people that mention phones that aren't Sony-Ericsson. It's really not THAT big of a deal.

It's a great thread. I found it in search of some hard to find games and I ended up with insanely more games than I'd ever hope for! I am very grateful to the contributers here.

I agree that it's a given if some games will work on other phones, but it's also polluting the content of this thread if people start asking or confirming. In my opinion it should only consist of modest requests, fills and a fair amount of appreciation. Furthermore I guess I am contradicting my own opinion by putting it in this thread ha ha... Nevermind, I'm a newbie.

After reviewing the current situation here and my vast years of experience in matters like these as a mod, here's my offer of solution.

Any ONE of the posters NOTE THAT I SAY ONE, can start a new thread to which will be STRICTLY for them to fulfill the requests in this thread. I will issue the correct "penalty" for said action(s) for those who failed "RIF".

Doing this will make finding links MUCH easier and having a separate thread for requests is the only way to keep what you're looking for easier to find in the thread with all the links. If needed, the thread with the links can be locked and opened only when new links are going to be added.

Simply enuff? I will retitle this thread appropriately should the masses here agree. Hopefully this isnt a too little too late cause cuz I'm enjoying my "Deal or No Deal" on my P990i!!

Just a suggestion.. could we also broaden the topic a little to include ANY QVGA phone? Most of these games will work on any MIDP2.0 phone with a QVGA screen, so why not let everyone post their QVGA games if they have them? The worst that's going to happen is some people won't be able to use them because of lack of needed hardware/java instructions. I know I am VERY thankful for the games I downloaded for my Nokia!

Anyway, as you'll have noticed, I'm one of the contributers of this thread. I think there's a few things that could be done to fix the trolling issues. Just one thing though, renaming the thread is a bad idea. MIDP 2.0 QVGA refers to Nokia phones as well, and half these games will not work on that as they are made with UIQ specific code in mind. I know, I've got a Nokia with a QVGA screen. Many of the games don't work that are confirmed to work on SE phones.

I'm just slightly worried that it might become too much work for you to fix up this place. Maybe employ little helpers?

msn mobile that 3 have on the k800i is available for almost every sonyericsson do a google search for wlm messenger for mobile you will need the 384 version for k800i and 382 for k750 w550 w800 and that not so gifted phones lol oh and there a cool java app called jzipman that allows you to unzipp zip files with your sonyericsson mobile id post them but dont have a PC

I just wanted to apologize quickly for the many requests that are still going unfilled. It's just that since I don't personally play SE games, or cellphone games for that matter (just got a PSP!) I haven't kept my collection very neatly. Takes a bit of a while to look for them all. The collection needs updating anyway.

I still hope there's a way to somehow categorize these. I'm thinking maybe someday in the next few weeks when I'm a bit free I'll setup an entire index A-Z with all the games and what pages they're on. This should happen sometime before the end of this month since I'm rather caught up at work. Till then, bear with me please.

Thanks for trying peixeiro and ljs3000, but unfortunately both versions of virtua tennis 3D are 176x220, good for a k700i, k750i, w800i etc, but looks small on a 240x320 phone, e.g. k800i, s700i or w900i.

There is a 240x320 version available, but cannot be found yet. The file size will probably be greater than 300kB, maybe 320-350kb. All the links to virtua tennis 3D so far are around 300kB, and yes, I tried them all still, but all small screen.

The 240x320 version released on this thread was for a 2D version only.

If anyone has the 240x320 3D version, please post.

Hi,

for the 6265i, I suggest you to buy a Mini-SD card (San Disk, the other are not all working). Then, you just need a cable (Nokia DKU-2 cable are cheap) and then you can plug your phone on the computer as a memory card reader, so just create some folders on the memory and drag the games theres (only the jar). You can put all the games from Sony Ericsson phones, they work (almost 90% of them) on the 6265i

Thanks for posting the game, but it doesn't work on SonyEricsson QVGA (it shows the screens, but the soft keys don't work - thus it's useless)

Since this thread actually was for SE phones - does anyone have a version of FIFA 07 that actually works on SonyEricsson 320x240 phones (like the w900i)?
