V265 Cant hear and cant be heard...

OUt of the blue a week or so ago my v265 decided it wasnt going to work anymore. I cant hear when someone calls in and they cant hear me. I can hear from the outside speaker via ringtones and volume changes, but no keytones or anything. So today I plug in a headset and it works fine with the headset plugged in. Lastly aftger unplugging the headset I got the sounds to come back briefly after I played with the speakerphone button. I had sound for about 5 minutes and now its back to being broke again. Even stranger is the fact that the speakerphone button will not work anymore either. My neighbor just got this phone off ebay and is having tghe exact same problems as I am, anyone else have this issue? TIA
