It is a free email client that can be set up on a cpu, and then downloaded quickly to your phone, and it's absolutely free! www.flurrymail.com I've been using it for a couple of days now, and it works great. For now, FlurryMail has been great. |

It doesn't give you the chance to set up your own POP3 email on it. So unless you have one of the above emails, you are out of luck. What they should have done is put an "Other" option in there so you can program in your own. But then again Cingular is not known for doing things that make sense. |

https://cingular.atgnow.com/cng/tutorials/KB39425.html I am curious if it works on that phone. One would think if you knew the Earthlink, Roadrunner (etc. server settings you could get it to work via medianet. Or is the real issue lack of full functionality (e.g. no attachments)? best, P |

I decided - for other reasons - to go with RAZR vs CU500, although I live in a "hotspot" for the new high speed service that CU500 does so well with. I don't plan to use the internet access very much other than email. |

Best real-time/push (quasi)solution I've been able to come up with is to forward my e-mails to the phone as text messages, so that I know I have gotten an e-mail, and I can read the From: field and the first few characters of the e-mail. Then I can fire-up the opera/gmail combo if I need to read the whole message. I've had the "poor mans blackberry" setup this way for several years... even with older phones and yahoo's wap client. Thanks in advance... |
