W810i picked up by US carrier?

I've heard speculation since the W800i came out that cingular or others might pick these phones up. They have yet to do so, and it doesn't look good. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard anything different before I buy my W810i.

No US carrier will pick up the w800 or w900 since they do not have the 850 band. Cingular is going to be releasing the w810 very soon.

Where did you hear that cingular would be releasing the W810i? I'd like to read this information myself if its out there. I've called cingular and they said they had no plans to pickup the W810i.

Just check out the cingular phone forums .

I'm thinking they might even pick up the K790a.
