Hi I just got this nokia 6682 a week or two ago and when I use my bluetooth headset it is really staticy. I used to use this exact same headset in the same exact places with my old nokia 6620 and never once had a problem.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? What might fix it? I've turned the phone off and such and the headset is definately fully charged. It gets really bad if I move very far from it(distances my old phone and this headset had no problems with).

Firmware is v 4.62.0 28-10-05 rm-58

If I take it in to get swapped what happens to my rebate? I already cut the box and mailed the rebate form off.

AMAZING!!! I have the same exact problem with the same exact phone and headset. I had a AT&T branded 6620 and had no problems. I have noticed numerous problems with the Cingular branded 6682. I am just trying to decide should I buy a unlocked Nokia phone. I have noticed that Cingular branded phones have issues. I'll take the original AT&T Wireless any day. Sorry I have not discovered a fix, it's a Cingular problem as far as I am concerned.

I have an generic 6682 and I have similar bluetooth static noises but I use a Jabra BT250v, but I've also tried a few other bluetooth headsets and get the same result. So I get the impression it's a phone specific issue not an issue between the phone and that particular headset.

Try a different bluetooth, I use cheap Nokia slide down on ear one $50, but my fold out Motorola worked ok too...
