I have a US Cellular RAZR V3c. Couple of questions about downloading stuff from my PC to my phone w/ a USB...

1. What programs should I use to download stuff on my phone?
2. What kind of "stuff" can I download? (themes, games, ringtones...)
3. How do I download this "stuff"?

I read above that I should be careful what I do with my phone because it is CDMA... I know absolutely nothing about phones so can somone help me as far as... are there specific types of files that are harmful or will not work? if I want to download games, is there a specific file that only works on my phone? Will the regular java games work or I read somewhere about something called BREW? What is BREW?

Thank you for your help

You should check out the US Cellular forum but I will answer the basics.

1. The USCC V3c has full and open Bluetooth. You can transfer stuff via BT or USB. There is no fee associated with using BT or USB for moving stuff.

2. BREW stands for Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless. USCC uses the BREW platform for games, ringtones, pics and data applications. Other carriers that use BREW include Verizon and Alltel. There is a fee for it.

Seriously, check out the US Cellular forum.
