has anyone used the sanyo 5300 radioshack case? I like the style except the 2 i have tried to use (with extended battery on which should actually help prevent the promblem by making the case tighter) both had the same problem

with this case when i close the phone the subLCD stays off and the main LCD stays on for a few more seconds (or however longer it is supposed to stay on)... only if i really push the phone together will the sublcd go on... but when i let go the main lcd goes back on and the sublcd shuts off again

i think the plastic covering is preventing the piece that tells the phone that it is closed from hitting the button

does the plastic wear in and it eventually work fine? if so how long did it take? did anyone have any similar issues with this phone case?

if this problem doesnt fix itself, does anyone know of/have a case with full LCD protection that looks nice... has anyone tried the one from sprint?

i really want to use this case b/c i havent seen any other one i really like with full protection but if this problem persists than it defeats the purpose of the sublcd and i wont use it

thanks for any help

I had the same problem with the radio shack case. I think the clear covereing on the numbers is to thick. Also thought it was bulky. I went with the bodyglove which is not as bulky. It is a nice case just don't know if I like the clip for it. I like the clip on the belken case because it's easier to get off your belt/pants. I might take a chance and try another holster other than the Sanyo one (falls out) when one comes out.

Do any of the Sanyo 5300 cases have an adequate cutout for the camera so that one can quickly snap photos, with the case still on, and with the phone either open or closed?

The Body Glove does.
