Issue's receiving Beam(s) on Sprint 700P

I keep having an issue with my Sprint 700p where I will go to beam something to my 700p from my Sprint Treo 650, Beam Receive is ON on the 700p, yet it the 650 never sees it, and the 700p never receives the beam... that is, until I soft reset (with button) the 700p, then it picks up on the fact something beaming to it and it receives it instantly.

Is there anyone else that is having this issue also? Any idea's what might be causing it?

If you didn't find a solution yet, I stumbled onto this patch...would be nice to be notified by Palm, since the unit isn't exactly inexpensive.

I used it yesterday after having issues "beaming" contacts into my
Magellan GPS unit. Worked immediately!
