Hello, ive had my w600i for about 2 hours now and i am trying to put music on the thing...everything is installed and my pc detects the cell phone...only 1 problem it says that theres only 24mb of memory

Ive tried doing a master restart on the phone and ive tried unpluging and reinstalling everything but nothing works...I bought it used and the person trying to help me told me that he had music on the thing just before he sold it to me...CAN ANY1 OUT THERE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

This is from the unoffical Club Sony Ericsson " I recently had the same problem with my W600, but found a small yet time consuming work around.

Fill the 23mb of free space will files, disconnect and reconnect after power cycling the phone. Your phone should now show the files you copied plus 23 mb free. Delete the previous files to have 46mb free. Repeat the cycle of add files/reboot/delete until you have all your free space back.

Warning - deleting all files and power cycling the phone will revert it back to having only 23 mb free. Until a fix for this is released, this is the only way i've found of doing it. " - Flotsam
