Help with 6310i data transfer.

I just purchased a IRA dongle USB, but it keeps tellling me the wirelink is interrupted or the link is blocked.

It locates my phone with the Nokia Connection Manager and I select the 6310i and click apply, it gives me an error message
"operation failed" (error code) 80010105

I downloaded the Nokia PC Suite also.

Do I have to install the 6310i modem software, I did install it, but
I am not sure if I have too.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong. I am using Wiretek USB
IRA dongle.

I am running Winxp Professional. Any ideas how solve this problem.

Almost sounds like an O/S problem. Might want to try a different IR port or something. Also, if you have problems with the compute recognizing the phone and intereacting with it, you'll have to play with the settings. It's a pain in the butt...not completely sure if its worthy of the trouble.

if it's a 6310i you have, im curious as to why you wouldnt have purchased a bluetooth dongle.....

Tehdee: I had a USB IR port from when I had the 7210. Unlike some of us, I don't have the money for a bluetooth dongle cable just yet unless if you want to pay for my tuition fees.

I posted plenty of pictures of my 6310i with a chameleon blue faceplate on here, etc etc and it is the only phone I use right now. And if you ask why I don't have the BT cable, now you know why and you can buy me one.

while im not willing to have your bills forwarded to my house, im kinda stoked you have the 6310i. mine is in the mail, and literally 24 hrs away from my doorstep. i tried looking for the face plate pics, but couldnt find them. is it a thread in the modding section?
