hey all, just wondering if it was possible to change a sound into my ringtone. I sent myself a pix message to my email, then replied with the attachment of the file I wanted as my ringtone. when I open the message on my phone the file will play but I can only save it as a sound. need a way around this if possible. thanks in advance for your help.

nope, it is impossible to do this on the 8100 and the 9800, however it is possible on the v3c, v3m, and the 8300.

Don't give up hope. You could use an adapter. Read through the other threads...

It's not impossible if you have a data cable.

you need to use bitpim ( example train sound )

copy the sound file train.qcp to the pc

use software to convert the qcp file to an mp3 file

then use bitpim to import the mp3 file into ringtones folder

might be just as easy to to do a google sound search of train or waterfall etc for one with an mp3 ext

and download the train.mp3 and then use bitpim to put it in ringtones
