Yup, with no problems.

My other half's V3 has a V3i keypad. Works perfectly.

I have the gold v3i keypad in my black v3 along with the gold trimmed inner display window and the gold side buttons. I also have the gold hinges but I need a T3 screwdriver to remove the original ones. It looks pretty awesome.

i was gona do the opposite having the gold hinges an inner display gold as well with black insides the v3i gold keypad an the gold housing too

ima just take it some where an ask them to do it for free an let them keep the extra parts i will have left over which will be like new silver hinges display etc etc i cant wait till all it comes in

Does anyone have detailed instructions for removing the keypad?
I've browsed through a few PowerPoint presentations for disassembly from Motorola, but nothing there really details how to get the keypad out and replace it.

theres an excellent walkthrough in .pdf form over at motomodders, theres tabs that need to be bent back, thats all.
