Flexing V300 to Cingular

i have a Motorola V300 i bought unlocked but branded to T-Mobile. i have service on Cingular, and I cant get serivce on any tower unless it is purely Cingular.
Wondering if anyone knew if flexing to Cingular would help this, and if it would, will someone let me know how to do that.
