Help: Need 5150 Replacement Antenna

All,

I recently broke the antenna on my Sanyo 5150 and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a replacement. It doesn't appear to be a standard accessory and I'm having some real trouble locating one.

I've searched around a bit and haven't been able to find one. My carrier, Sprint, has been of very little help. I visited 2 Sprint retail locations, radio shack, as well as a Sprint service center and came up empty. I even called the Sprint accessory line and they said they don't carry antennas.

Any idea of websites or reatail stores (around nyc) where I can get a compatible replacement antenna for this phone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After the antenna off my SCP-5000 broke (same one as yours), I handed the phone off to my girlfriend, who had a $4/mo. Sprint Replacement plan, so she headed to the nearest Sprint store and quickly gave her a new stock SCP antenna. She kept the phone, which ended up dying anyway, so she's got a 5150, and I have the 5300. We're happy now. I'm trying to be careful with the antennas, as you're right, they're hard to find.

I didn't think the equipment program would cover broken antennas, but they did!

go to either bb or cc and take the antenna off one of their phones
