If SonyEricsson made a quad band/North American tri-band UIQ, would you buy it?

So the question is...if Sony Ericsson released a quad band or NA tri-band UIQ, would you get one? My only qualm about the P990 is that it doesn't have 850 and the qwerty keypad is a bit annoying cause I can type with T9 much faster. My speculation is that the next version (after the P990) will either be quad band and dual band 3G or just quad band gsm? Check out the poll....

I would not waste my time on a NA triband :-)
The minimum requirement is a quadband to even consider them for anything.
Since I have an SX66 I would say that a quadband EDGE + triband UMTS, plus 3 MP camera, plus FM tuner would be a serious consideration.

I think quadband would make sense as well as FM tuner. Sans qwerty keyboard and the addition of a bigger screen would be great.

To the original question,

Yes, I would buy a tri-band (w/ 850) SE UIQ3.0 phone. However, I fail to see why SE doesn't make more quand-band phones. Other manufacturers seem to be pumping out the quand-band phones with relative ease. Secondly, I would be more interested in an HSDPA phone rather than a tri-band UMTS phone (being a North American).

-----------------------------------

1.) The P990 has both a normal keypad and the QWERTY keypad, so if you want to use T9 you can.

2.) It has a FM Tuner as well.

I would definitely purchase a quadband SE UIQ phone. If it was only NA triband, I would go with something else unless the specs on that phone are insanely better than other UIQ phones.
