hey guys, I was recently just given a 10-4 phone (Sanyo scp-7300) for work.. I was wondering if there is a way to get the 10-4 service to communicate with Telus' Mike service.. they're both push and talk... Bell's website says no, but i was wondering if they were speaking the 'whole truth'...

Wirelessly posted (Samsung-SPHA900 AU-MIC/2.0 MMP/2.0)

No different systems

Mike uses IDEN technology, a completely different communication system. However telus also offer 1x based '10-4' service but altough it would be compatible with Bell's, they cannot communicate with one another.

What about Bell Mobility's 10-4 and Solo Mobile's 10-4?

tested and confirmed by myself and GG Fuzion...but i no longer have UL 10-4 as the people i gave phones too never use the dam thing which is very convenient way to keep in contact...especially across NA

You use 1-number for both 10-4 and normal calls unlike Mike where you have 2 numbers a normal one and what they call DC Direct Connect.
