Well I have been looking at pics taken by this phone and they look hella better then mine.
Here is a sample pic of myself and it looks worse then other peoples. Can someone tell me whats wrong?

Let's see some more samples.
Take a few shots outside in daylight. Indoor pics usually look just like that pic.

Here are some more of the pics. I took some outside and they look a little better but still look a little grainy.

Sorry for all the lame shots I was really tired and didn't know what to do.

Let me know when you post some pics from outside.
I'll give you my opinion, but I need some actual pics first .. lol

Like I said, those look rather normal for inside shots.

Ok here we go.

The second pic is 2x zoom.

ok, this is like pulling teeth ... lol

Take some normal pics.
Do not use zoom or anything else.
Just some normal outisde shots.
Don't take a pic of nothing but a tree trunk and a few leaves.
Go to the street - take a pic up the street.
Take a pic of a house.
Take a pic of some traffic.
Take a pic of a field.
Give me some examples!

Pics inside are useless, and so are zoom pics.

Aight Aight hold on

Ill have to get back to you when I get back ill take some pics when I go out.

Also, hold the phone very still when you take the pic (there is a slight delay between pressing the button and when the shutter opens/closes - so wait a second or two after you press the button before you move the phone).

From that one shot of the tree, it does look like you might have a crappy camera - it looks like only things that are close are in focus (the focus set too close).
But I need to see some more samples to be sure.

If you have good lighting inside the pics will turn out better. My v710 takes some really bad pics when im inside and dont have enough lights on .

The first day i got my E815 i thought the camera was very bad... but after looking around on the web i found some pics taken with another E815 and wow, do they look much better.
I emailed motorola and sent them some sample pics and they recommended i send my phone in under the one year warranty policy.
I went back to bell and the guy there lent me another E815 to test out the pic quality, and there is a major difference between a good one and a defective one. The following link has some pics that i've taken with a good and bad E815

So i sent it out about a week ago, so i should be getting it back soon, i'll post some pics with the fixed one i get.

They look okay to me.

I'd go with Humpa and say there is a focus or depth of field problem but it is hard to tell from those shots. Some pictures of parked cars or buildings in good light might show the sharpness of the details better.

Set the video storage device to the TF card and you'll have 3 minutes as the max.
