this is an odd sitatuon but...my friend moved out of state and he gave me his sidekick 2 but he being a retard had a password for the network to work and i dont know the password...is there a way i can reset the sidekick 2 completely...i want to find a way to do this without calling tmobile at all... if any1 can help me..please do

try a hard reset

To perform a hard reset, press the power button and reset button at the same time. Unit will vibrate when reset. You can use a paper clip or similiar to hit the reset button located behind the screen.

(reset button is that little hole on the top right when u open the screen half way)

i tried that and i tried the soft reset but it wont work. Thanks though..

Wow, my stolen sidekick was so much easier to unlock, the 3 digit privacy lock was tough but I figered there could only be 999 combinations so I started at 000 and went from there, then got a prepaid sim and it worked fine, ha ha, then the kid saw it and asked wen I got it, and offered me his so I manned up and told him it was his!! He was just like oh, he got a sk3 on an isurance claim cuz the camera on this was messed but now works fine!!
