Ok I know I'm a little late but I have to say that I'm pretty happy with this phone. I really didn't know what you guy meant by expandable t9 dictionary till today. I had the nokia 3390 and I'm not sure if the feature is in that phone but man . This phone learns the words you type so the second time around you can just press the corresponding numbers for that word such as Bi*tch......slang words are awesome.
Oh for some of you people who don't know what letter replaces the *..um try A. LOL...the s105 didn't have this function...im not sure about the v205 phone but that phone t9 wasn't all that great. Maybe the s300 will have the answers to that.

So how does it do it? Is it automatic?

This is what I do to make sure the word you are using gets recorded into the t9 word bank. I may be wrong but this is what I do and it works for me. Go into your sms and choose create... write a few words or names that you know are not part of the t9 bank. Then after you have chose all the words you want to write..... go to menu and select ok. Then clear the whole message.....it will save your message to the outbox...once it does this then the words you wrote should be in your t9 word bank. Email addresses work too.... the phone doesn't support vietnamese but I've messed with it enough to have my language in the t9 bank.
