After all my life being a nokia happy user, ive decided to change to moto by some certain things...
The point of this thread.. is to gather the most quantity of info about how did u get over the annoying "Initialazing, Please wait" message from MPT..
My case was this...
I bought the cable, mpt.. etc etc
The first plugged in worked so fine.. i got everything sincrhonized, transfered MP3 ringtones and pics pc--> phone and phone-->pc..
Well.. like it was first time i used MPT i just unplugged the phone and got home (i was at work).. i said this cuz i dont know if thats the problem
Ok.. when i came back the day after.. i plugged my phone and the oddisey begun..
Not recognized, not installed NOT NOTHING!...
After several obvious re-installings and rebootings and driver deletings, etc etc...
I guess it is half recognized... but the annoying "Initializing, please wait" keeps showing and showing...
WHats next to do?.. ive erased logs, system files, system32 files, inf files , reinstalled software, reinstalling Moto Usb Modem.. etc
Please if u can post ur different cases or most important SOLUTIONS
...
Greetings
BTW.. i have a Moto V-265

I always plug the phone in before starting MPT and and unplug it after shutting MPT down it never lets me down. MPT gets a little finicky when it does not find the phone it had the last time.

Somethings I always do...
power the phone off/on
connect phone to PC
start MPT..
use mpt...
exit mpt..
disconnect phone from PC...
MPT can be tempermental...
