WANT TO KNOW about modded iTunes

would any one happend to know if iTunes on my pc would recognize my l7 which has iTunes on it, BUT its the seem and shortcut five version. When i plug in my phone iTunes automatically loads up BUT it doesn't no indicate that it detects any device.
Any one have any idea if it supports it?
