MUST KNOW !: CU500 as a modem for the 8125 ..

ive been into this tehetering stuff for years!! ... now nothing i do works..
so .. im asking for some help ..
how do i use my CU500 as a bluetooth modem for my 8125 ?
so far this is what i do ..
new connection ..
> select bluetooth modem
> looks for modem ... finds CU500 and i check dailup networking..
> enter *99# for the number .. also tried *99***1#
> user name and password... we all know what they are ..
> finish
>connect ..... then I get " the host comp has disconnected you .. check your setting "
i am about ready to return this darn thing if i cant get it to do this...
ANY help would be appreciated..

I got the tethering to work to a Dell Axix X3 with a BT SDIO card. Pretty much the same as setting it up on Win XP. The SDIO software asked for my phone model which wasnt preloaded since SDIO is very old, so it looked (pairing) and then said the CU500 was a standard BT Modem.
