Motorola E815 MP3 Problems

Hi,
I have read many posts closely regarding this problem, but havent completely got my question answered. I have a Motorola E815 phone through Alltel wireless. I have been able to transfer MP3 to my 1GB transflash card with no problems. However, when i listen to them i can hardly hear them even with the volume up. I have seen people suggest MP3 Gain, and if i do this where should i download it to? Should i put it on the transflash card and then run it from the phone? or is there another way?
Any help would be appreciated.

Mp3 Gain is a program that you run from your computer to adjust the volume of your songs before you transfer them to your phone. The prgram is free, just search for 'mp3 gain' on the internet and follow the directions on how to use it.
