now i know this has bound to be asked before but i have looked through the forum and am unable to find it so please dont flame me .

i have a n70 on t mobile and i also have a bought tomtom 5 package with a bluetooth reciver from a tom tom 3 package .

Firstly the n70 locks and looses the bluetooth connection with the reciver more often than not ( very frustrating when you have paid for the software )
almost causing me to crash a few times.

im guessing this is down to firmware on the n70 , is it possible for me to flash the firmware with the latest myself and does this solve the tom tom issue also if i do flash it will it also de brand the phone and let me use my other sim cards and get rid of the tmobile stuff as the tmobile screen savers etc are queit frankly poo , why do people like nokia let people like tmobile write software when it gives the phone problems . grrr r

please point me in the right direction as i afraid that im going to die in my car , i used to use my ipaq rx3715 for tomtom as this give me no jip but some little scrote nicked it from my car and all i have to use is my phone

nope still getting stalling issues with tomtom mobile 5 (and its original to not a rip off) im going to buy a new memory card next as i belive this is stalling the phone abit ( for the record its a pqi 512mb dont buy one they are utter poo cheap flimsy body and slow hardware) but the improvement i did see is when the phone does drop the connection with the tomtom gps reciver leave the phone 30 secs and it picks it back up again , which it never used to do . You had to manually turn the phone off and on to get it to couple with the tomtom reciver . Just playing with the powersaver now get a decent screen on it as i got a banging theme and im off again
