Cingular 8125 and 2005 Prius bluetooth issue

I don't know if this question has been answered yet... I tried to do a search but it said that Search is disabled, so here goes...
I have a fully loaded 2005 Prius, and when I had my Motorola RAZR V3, it transferred (via bluetooth) contacts fine, and my signal strength bars from my phone showed on my Prius' screen. Also, when I received calls, the ring would sound through the car's speakers.
I then switched to a Cingular 8125 in March and have yet to find out a way to transfer contacts from the 8125 to my Prius via bluetooth. When I transfer contacts from the 8125 to the Prius phonebook the name appears correctly, however, the phone number appears as a set of unrecognizable characters.
And some minor issues: Also, when the 8125 is paired with the Prius, the signal strength bars do not show on the Prius screen. And when the phone rings, instead of the ring coming through the Prius speakers after the music pauses, the music just pauses and the ring comes from the phone.
Anybody having similar issues and/or know how to fix the problem(s)? I'm hoping there are other Prius + 8125 owners here, lol.
Shortly after purchasing my 8125, my V3 died, so I can no longer use it to transfer contacts. Apparently, there is a way to manually type in numbers into the 2006 models' phonebooks. Guh! What luck I have...

I'm having similar issues between my 2125 and my new Camry. Signal bars don't show, and the contact transfer didn't work too well. I have every number entered on my phone in full international format (+1 (or whatever country code)and then the number) and when I tried to transfer a contact, the name came over, but just the "+1" part of the number, nothing more. Calls come over the stereo just fine. I am using the latest Cingular 2125 ROM.
On the other hand...my wife's RAZR shows the signal bars, but unfortunately, I just bought the car, and haven't had time to show here how to do voice dialing or been able to try transfers from the RAZR.
I think there is a compatibility list somewhere for Toyota...and I'm pretty sure the 2125 and 8125 aren't on it

There is a fairly new utility called "JETware Hands-free Extension" that was designed to resolve some of these sorts of issues on WM phones. It seems the Microsoft-provided Hands-Free profile is lacking in some areas, and this is a possible resolution.
Have a look at the unwired review and try the software out, if you think it's worth the effort. It does offer a free trial period.

Sorry for the late response, but thanks you guys. I was hoping I wasn't the only one with the problem.
I'm gonna go ahead and try the JETware thing.
