Hey people, I've been searching for a good ASF or 3GP converter. I tried some on them that I've found on Google but the quality is HORRIBLE!

If you could pleaseeeeee hook me up with a converter =)

I use Total Video Converter.. 3GP_Converter doesn't support many filetypes so I convert it to mpeg before converting it through 3GP_Converter.

You lose a lot of quality by going through double converting processes but you cant notice a thing on the 903 screen ^^..

For some reason I cant seem to encode this one video clip. It keeps coming up black when I try playing it on my phone. Any suggestions Sketch?

Hey Sketch do you think you can send me the crack? or are you using the real version?

Also does the 3GP converter also convert asf? which mode do you people use for recording videos? I heard that .3GP is the best quality compared to the .ASF

do you mean asf to 3gp? anyways, email me or add me on msn. i'll try to send you the files.
For recording, 3gp can only do so much, so far, from what i've seen, SDVideo is the best for recording whne using a sharp phone. For watching movies, you're better off with converintg to mp4 or 3gp. If done right. you'll get a good quality 7 min video @ 18megs. A badquality one @ 7 mb. And even though the quality isn't as nice as the 18mb. it's still decent.

To add.. i use IMToo to convert video files i've downloaded from youtube to put in my phone and to my surprise.. it retains the same quality. =D so i'm overjoyed by this.

On the topic of video conversion, is anyone familiar with playing videos on their 770sh? i know that it wont play mpeg4, but it does however play 3gp, my problem is that i cant get the right settings to convert to a 3gp file that will play on my phone. The only way for me to play a 3gp file right now is if i find a video in mpeg4 format (such as videos made for the 903sh) then use BenQ AV converter to change the file to 3gp, then it plays, but the quality is poor and the sound doesnt seem to be in sync with the video.

Can anyone help me out with what program?

does anyone know how to convert vids for 705sh? i converted some stuff with winavi but it doesn't play for some odd reason. it shows the thumbnail but not the vid.
