AT&T 3G Rollout - Latest markets launching

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: DaveMan

Does anyone in St.Louis have a umts device? My cingular rep told me it was supposed to be turned on today, but I have no idea if it really has been...

Posted by: mush10

I stopped by a Cingular corporate store jin a Philly suburb just to ask when they are getting their UMTS phones in. He said in should be any day now. He mentioned that it should be on in some areas as they are doing final tests. Can anyone with a 3G phone confirm this. It seems to make sense because the launch date was at one time scheduled for the 28th of August.

Posted by: Jakaroe808

I would also like to know about the Philadelphia market.. Any first hand info would be greatly appreciated..

Here is what I know and I am pretty confident it is accurate. The target all year has been for an August launch and they are making every effort to make that happen. The launch will not have 100% of the sites complete when it "goes live," but should still hit the target of having a good number of sites up and running by months end. The guy I talked to at the store today seemed to confirm that.

I spoke to a rep at our local Cingular store today and they told me that Denver Metro is ready to go and was supposed to be turned on any day but due to some sort of mixup with the FCC they wont turn it on until Oct 2007

Posted by: Portables

What about the Richmond, VA market?

Mix up with the FCC??? That does not sound right at all. The FCC does not have anything to do with deployment of 3G. Also, Cingular would not have all of the millions invested in a network "ready to go" unless they had the bandwith.

I would be VERY suspect of what that rep told you.

Posted by: enigma99a

Report for Sacramento:

Infrastructure is in place completely and UMTS site buildout continues. (I won't go into details ) In fact, some sites have been unlocked and are on the air taking traffic!

Agreed, it sounded wierd but he did go on to say that the mixup was something to do with the available frequency in the Denver area. I don't know enough about it to speed intelligently.

Carolina's

Charlotte should be in "general" mode (people with 3G devices SHOULD be able to access it)

Greensboro and Columbia are still in "beta" mode (which means only specials devices can access it) ETA of October

Charlotte should be any day now

What area of Charlotte was he when the 3G signal was received?!

Posted by: cingular#1

I dn, but I will try to find out

Posted by: petard

So nothing in Minneapolis/St. Paul? Oh well ill just get a smartphone with EDGE, im sick of my RAZR and its ****** GPRS!

Posted by: llkoola1

Does anybody know about Minneapolis/St. Paul? I bet about 3 people have asked about it, and nobody knows? Well ill just wait and wait. For waiting this long they better have a big coverage area, and not just downtown. Hopefully the suburbs will get something, but not till late 2007 im guessing , and by then ill just go with Sprint or Verizon.

I just found out that the UMTS launch in St.Louis has now been pushed back to
Sept. 13th....

So this means Greensboro/Columbia is almost ready now, but wont be usable for the public until october?

Posted by: baller4ever85

does anybody know anything about kansas city, mo?
how good is the coverage? is it like in only the main downtown or the suburbs too? i need 3g & the 8525, lol.

Posted by: brealmp3

charlotte should have umts is about 2 weeks. but the closest cingular tower is about 3 miles away from where my kiosk sits (concord mills area) and we get signal from the tower that my reseller provides and our 3g market won't be up till a projected date of march 07.... so i'll probably have a 3g signal on my phone for about 20 minutes of my 30 minute ride

Sorry to thread jack. I'm currently a Cingular subscriber with a w600i phone and unlimited data plan. Is there anything Cingular do that would prevent me from putting my SIM into an unbranded UMTS cell phone? I live outside Boston so get UMTS service. I was just wondering if there is anything they do in the HLR to block access unless I sign up to some sort of UMTS plan.

Posted by: brealmp3

no there will be no way to tell

no i didn't, the short time he had the 3g signal was probably for testing. it should be completely rolled out in about 2 weeks. the area my customer had a problem in was the n. tryon and sugar creek area

charlotte pushed back

I called a cingular store in the University area and the representative told me the launch date was Monday, August 28.

sorry to burst your bubble, but do you really think you will see 3G in the Charlotte area tomorrow?

Maybe the rep ment that they will recieve the phone tomorrow, which sounds reasonable.

ST Louis HAS been pushed back til the 12-13th of sept.

I called the Denver Park Meadows store and they also gave me 2008 is when they expect to get 3G. Thats completely ridiculous, being stuck on EDGE until then. I will be switching to Verizon if that is the case. Getting tired of Cingulars lack of high speed data offerings, they are just too far behind the rest of the market.

Posted by: mush10

Has anyone seen any 3G action in Philly? Today is the supposed launch date. It should be in the Center City area at least.

That is just absolutely bizzare. I have been told that the equipment is up and has been in testing. Why they are waiting so long to roll it out makes no sense...

South Jersey is in the Philly market correct? Anyone getting 3g on the AC Expressway?

Posted by: Quatre

yea i'm waiting for 3g hsdpa signal for data in the phila and surrounding area to be as good as vzw and/or sprints evdo then i'll be looking or hsdpa capable gsm pda phone and also getting the motorazr maxx with hsdpa

Posted by: mush10

me too.......i hope the maxx comes soon....as for the ac expressway i would not hold your breath just yet....they are launching from the city out...today was the day, but we shall see.....the orginal site goal is behind, but they were stilll supposed to go ahead with the launch

Posted by: jsav

jeeez... why wont there be any 3G here in Syracuse, NY? Verizon has EVDO (i think). Sprint is lacking Power Vision here, and Cingular is delaying 3G.

Posted by: tbully

Someone a few pages back mentioned that Detroit is going live on 8/29 (tomorrow). Anyone know if that is still true? (nothing on the coverage maps yet - nor can you buy a 3g phone from online with a detroit zip entered)

Thanks!

Posted by: bradbradstreet

If you go to http://onlinecare.cingular.com/coverageviewer/ and select DC for state and click View Map - it will enable showing 3G coverage at a zoomed out level. Then it is very easy to wander around the whole country to see where coverage is. As soon as you zoom in you have to get to City Level to see 3G and then if you zoom back out you can not select the 3G box.

Atlanta and Chicago show excellent coverage - as does DC/Baltimore. NYC areas are growing in coverage. The eastern shore of Maryland has 3G coverage.

My area in South Lyon, Wixom won't have 3G for a while. I am surprised that Detroit wasn't with the first wave of 3G because they had it back with ATT.

I hope your source is correct. I was spoiled while in Chicago for several days recently. The EDGE/3G difference on my TyTN was not subtle.

Posted by: audiojon

Admittedly the first time I have taken my CU500 to San Diego, but it was in 3G mode almost the entire time. Stayed that way all the way into Carlsbad, I think it switched back once I hit Orange County tho. Reception was very good, as was call quality (except for one call as I was heading out of the county). It even switched from 3G to 2G during a call with no problem. I didn't test the data speed, so no comment on that. I also am not using a 3G SIM card, I just have the 64k regular one. Now I'm not sure if I even need a 3G card- is there any advantage to having one?

Oh well. I was hopeful from the earlier person's post. That's the only source of inoformation I had.

That is good news. Although this messes up my phone Ideas. I was about to get a w810 but might wait if 3g is coming in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the Tip

Looks like coverage maps have been updated... Aug 31,2006 date on them.
I haven't been able to get the 3g map to pop-up though.

Posted by: ilvla2

No new coverage in the Sacramento, Sacramento Valley (Sacramento to Redding and Chico) or North Bay areas

Posted by: Wolfgang5150

Here is a dumb question - will 3G improve service in weak coverage, or rural areas? (Where Verizon is much stronger). I live in zip code 14127 - which has spotty coverage at my house. Considering switching to VZW because their signal is much stronger here and in the outlying areas. But I like Cingular and don't want to go through the mess of porting numbers etc. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.

Anyone here in the Santa Barbara area? I spoke to a store rep who said they are currently testing a tower in the Las Positas area and that full service would go live around November.

Actually, the Cleveland/Akron core is unbarred and accessible at this time. The logical approach now would be to pull in non-core clusters (Youngstown, Lorain, etc.) over the next few weeks as they prepare to commercially launch UMTS.

Pretty sure that the official commercial launch date is sometime in October.

The said the same thing here in Santa Clarita... I have a Samsung ZX-20 on order, and it should be here sometime next week. I'll let you know if a '3G' symbol replaces the 'G' symbol.

Columbus, OH is very close to launching.

It is also now on the coverage viewer online.

Posted by: XxcyrusxX0526

so..when is charlotte launching again?

Posted by: Shqiptar

Does anyone know if 3G will be coming to Rockland County, NY anytime soon? Rockland is a suburb of NYC and is just across the river from Westchester which has Cingular 3G service.

I was in Manhattan yesterday and I must say that 3G service was great! I used Cingular Video on my CU500 and it would not re-buffer as it does often in EDGE coverage area.

Man where are you getting your info. It is to say the least "suspect"!!!!!!!

I am personally talking to the contractors installing the 3g hardware and they told me Monday that Cingular is behind the 8ball in the Carolinas for 3g.

He further told me that he has gotten some test equipment for 4g service from a certain cdma carrier(Sprint). By the time Cingular gets rolled out to most major markets Sprint and VZW will have 4g rolling out lol.

Posted by: shortyd999

Well now Cingular and TM are the only carriers without 3G here in Birmingham

Posted by: importluva

I just checked the cingular coverage map tool thing and found out that I now have 3G in my area! This is great news.

Your wrong because
even though it says unlimited their is a ceiling somewhere
like if u tether the 8125 with the unlimited PDA connect plan with a Laptop
and u do it everyday for like 2 hours aday they will notice and force u to add the Laptop Connect Feature
even though it says unlimited there is a ceiling somewhere
it possbily high but the usage will eventually catch up to the point they know its not an edge device and call u up about it
i don't only know this as i am a COR rep but i had a treo 650 on that unlimited media net and blew it out the water and they called me up and asked me what device i was using LoL
i told them i had a 6230 so
it would take them a few months to realize it but otherwise
it would get noticed eventually

oh and to answer the question if u should trust the reps for 3g info
i myself don't know what the hell is going on
dates change daily
so
i know park road has UMTS but its patchy cause they are still testing testing testing
so when i get on here and say YO WE GOT IT
then its official for Charlotte area

Sprint may roll out WiMax (ugh) which will be a good use to replace things like DSL or Laptop cards, but a HUGE power drain on a cell phone/pda similar to Wifi. What's Verizon Wireless plans ? EVDO Rev A that's no different than HSDPA 3.2 (which should only require upgrade at the handset level - similar to EDGE class 6 vs. EDGE class 10).

Quote:

How is that different that a market like Los Angeles T-Mo, Cingular and Nextel are the carriers w/o 3G here as well.

Posted by: ilvla2

Awww, poor baby, here I am with no 3G, yet (Edge and Verizon are rolling it out here by next summer) As for US Cellular, who knows lol

Edit-I know Canuck knows this, but we have three carriers with actual service here, Verizon, Edge Wireless (Cingular Affiliate) and US Cellular.

Posted by: formercanuck

Edge Wireless isn't in my neck of the woods (desert actually), so it doesn't really count much for me.

Posted by: ilvla2

Nope, but for me and their other customers, it does If you come up to NorCal, SouOre, SE Idaho or W WY, it'll count for you too

One of these years, I might take a trip up through that way to Canada with an RV for a summer tour, or the 2010 olympics in Canada.

Actually, looking at the map, it seems to cover much further than I-270... It's a pretty amazing coverage area, especially compared to Verizon and Sprint's 3G area.

Yeah, I looked at the map after I made that post. I couldn't believe how far north the coverage goes! I figured the coverage would initially be inside/around the 270 area. Props to Cingular for doing it right!

Any word on the West Palm Beach, FL area?

Posted by: supercop360

I still havent heard any info on Florida which is crazy isn't Miami popular enough for Cingular.

Posted by: formercanuck

I think setting up Florida is similar to setting up So. Cal. Its a big area, and I don't just expect a couple of minor areas to go live, but big areas (less issues with GSM --> UMTS --> GSM handoffs to worry about). Besides, every update in Cingular's PR news for Florida has mentioned Florida to receive UMTS/HSDPA this summer. The same can't be said for So. Cal.

Posted by: ilvla2

Florida is so flat though, I bet it would be a lot easier than SoCal

Posted by: formercanuck

I would tend to agree.. it would be similar to deploying in the central valley between Grapevine and Sacramento, for the most part.

Posted by: ilvla2

Actually, it's pretty much flat when you drop down out of Tehachapi (railroader here ) and Tejon all the way to Redding, well, except for the Sutter Buttes between Colusa and Yuba City/Marysville-

http://www.uwsp.edu/geo/projects/ge...terButtesCA.HTM

They're what's left of an ancient volcano that is mostly eroded away, the ONLY significant rise in the entire Central Valley and the smallest independent mountain range in the world, pretty cool! I go by them a lot on Hwy.20 on our trips from Redwood Valley over to valley and other areas.

"Yuba City's western horizon is dominated by the Sutter Buttes, renowned for being the "Smallest Mountain Range in the World."

The range is actually circular with a diameter of 10 miles and covers an area of about 75 square miles. The mountains are the remnants of a volcano that has been dormant for over a million years. South Butte, the highest peak is 2,117 feet above sea level. North Butte is 1,863 feet and West Butte is 1,685 feet above sea level.

Before modern levees and dams were built to contain the rivers, winter storms and spring run-off frequently turned the Sacramento Valley into an inland sea making the Sutter Buttes an island refuge for Indians, settlers and wildlife.

The Buttes have had many names over the years. The Maidu Indians called them "Histum Yani" which translates as, "Middle Mountains of the Valley" or "Spirit Mountain" ... depending on the source. According to Maidu legend, after death, the spirits of their people rest in the Buttes.

Gabriel Moraga, a Spaniard trying to locate possible mission sites, was the first European to see the Sutter Buttes in 1806. Another Spaniard, Luis Arguello, led an expedition in 1817 to explore Northern California by water. He called the Buttes "Los Picachos" or the peaks. He also named the Feather River "El Rio de la Plumas", because he saw many feathers of wild fowl floating on the water.

Other names for the Buttes were "Marysville Buttes", "Sacramento Buttes", and "Los Tres Picos." They were finally named the "Sutter Buttes" in 1949.

Today, most of the Sutter Buttes is private land and not open to the public. However, you can drive through and around the Buttes. It is a beautiful drive any time of the year! Each year, in the spring, over 1,000 cyclists converge to "Bike Around the Buttes" an event sponsored by the Diabetes Society of Yuba Sutter.

If you want to experience the Buttes up close, organized group tour hikes are available. You can also play golf in the Buttes at South Ridge Golf Course, but watch out for the infamous 16th hole"

http://www.syix.com/yubacity/sutterbuttes.html

Posted by: formercanuck

Thanks for the U.S. history/geography bits... I've driven the L.A. to Sacramento/Grass Valley way a few times... and its very flat after coming down the hill from Gorman/Frasier Park/Lebec to Grapevine I-5/99 split all the way up to Sacramento area. It makes it for a really long and boring drive (not much to see). Auburn to Truckee is a much nicer drive, especially going through Grass Valley/Nevada City.

Posted by: ilvla2

If you hit hwy.20 going west instead of east at Marysville, and go until it merges with 101, then go north on 101 about 2 miles, you hit my place (we're 35 miles inland from the ocean, or 8 miles north of Ukiah)

I've been from one end of the valley to the other, and from one side of it to the other, by train (San Joaquin's, Coast Starlight) and car, train and Highways 99, 20 and 70 are my favs, I hate 5, so boooring lol I've been over the Donner route a lot too, by train and car, again, I'll take the train route, I hate freeways Though 5 is much nicer to drive up here than south of Sac, people generally drive nicer and more in line with the speed limit, except for the Bay Area and Oregon drivers (can you say tailgaters, rude drivers and impatient ) lol

Posted by: pcmike

So if 3G should be here by summer's end (hopeful at best I think), the only question is should I get a unbranded TyTn or wait for the 8525. Decisions, decisions..

But summer is over still no 3G bet you that it wont be around till 2007.

How about Wisconsin availibility? I've heard rumors that Milwaukee will be available in 30-60 days but no hard facts.

It is already starting a bit up here, shorter days, colder nights (in the 40's) and some of the trees and vineyards are just starting to get the tiniest, first bit of color in them.

The 3G lamp was lit today in Indy! I noticed that "U" had replaced the "G" on my TyTN late this afternoon. It appears that some additional tweaking will be needed to get the signal up to previous levels but this is great news.

3G Has launched and is live in Metro Detroit!!!! The official launch will be in a few weeks but its ONLINE & Working!

Posted by: TIM GALL

not sure if its already been posted, but it looks like Cleveland is online with 3g and going good on my cu500

Posted by: ScottCA

Looks like Modesto, CA came online at about 5pm on Tuesday 9/6! Woo Hoo!! hehe.. Well just see if they leave it on or not.. They have been taking different areas up and down. But today was the first day I could drive across town and not loose 3G signal.

Posted by: Gator5000e

OK, someone in Orlando with a 3G phone or card please let us know when 3G goes live here!

Posted by: Bacco

Come on CT

I know it's premature, but it's fun reading the last few posts about 3G going live is other places.

Posted by: exMot

Does anyone know how much more (if any) will metro Atlanta coverage increase? I am south of the city in Peachtree City.

thanks

Yeah I know really. My 3G LG CU500 is patiently waiting for a 3G signal to appear.

You will be VERY impressed of cingular's 3G network, once it gets rolled out in more locations.......guaranteed

I won't be impressed if it takes them until 2008 to get Denver up and rolling like some of the local stores are saying.

I dont see Milwakee getting 3g before Minneapolis/St. Paul. I mean Minneapolis is the 2nd biggest city in the midwest. I would think if Cingular was smart they would launch it here first then maybe wisconsin.

I havent heard anything about availability here yet, so...who knows!

Denver's a relatively small area.. I think the only think holding Cingular back might be lack of spectrum to deploy.

However, the Sacramento and Northern Sacramento Valley's are still waiting The Central Valley is good too, I go through there a lot on Amtrak, this is AWESOME news for us frequent San Joaquin's trains riders

bunch of cities to go along with the GPS service is now very
likely.

hmmm I didn't realize that 2.5M ppl in the metro area is a small market... Also they have the spectrum and have done the testing but there is some sort of confusion which is causing the delay.

Cingular (finally!) has a new base station on top of the parking garage for the Scarsdale train station. Coverage is noticeably better on my non-3G mobile. Their application to the Village included UMTS equipment, and of course it makes sense to put 3G in there. The Cingular coverage viewer doesn't yet reflect 3G coverage for this tower. Is there any reliable way to confirm that it is 3G w/o signing up for 3G service? Is it possible that they would install UMTS equipment but disable the 3G service because it would be an island of 3G between the 3G coverage areas of White Plains and NYC?

Cingular store reps are saying Sept 25th for 3G launch in Cleveland, OH. I stopped by to see if any 3G handests were in stock since hofo rumors indicate the network is already live. Hoping it will offer a bit better call quality in areas that are weak on the gsm network.

It's about time. Cleveland was one of the first markets to get GSM, but we are so far behind on data now. There's still nothing faster than 1xRTT or EDGE if you're not in Cleveland or Akron. (unless you have Sprint EV-DO)

Waiting on Los Angeles as well... No 3G on my ZX-20. I've currently disabled the 850 band to allow my phone to use AMR-full rate (thanks to an empty 1900 MHz band) and roam onto T-Mobile (I can see it through FEM mode on the ZX-20) Believe it or not, -105dBm on GSM 1900 (assumed AMR-full rate) works better than -95dBm on GSM 850 (assumed AMR-half rate).

hey Cingular#1 Can you shed some light on the Denver area? Several of us here are getting lots of different stories from the local stores.

Thanks a bunch!

Cingular#1, can you please shed some more light on the timeline for SE florida, specifically the West Palm Beach area. Is 3G still suppose to be operational and live down here by the end of this fiscal summer?

Thank you.

Yahoo!!! I was driving from downtown Charlotte, NC when I noticed UMTS Cingular on my TYTN!!! I didn't get to play with the internet but will try to later because i was driving. I watch my phone as i was heading to Concord and saw it change from U to G as i was passing the Lowes Motor Speedway. I hope this is not a test but the actual launch. If anyone would like to try video calling, PM me.

I was in Raleigh earlier this morning and never saw 3G there but i have to go back tomorrow and check again once i'm there.

I just drove past Falls Lake north of Raleigh - down to the east of Durham - to the Southpoint Mall area by I-40. I had 3G on my A860 data card the whole way.

I ran a few tests using Vonage.com's speed test. Got 737 Kbps download and 342 Kbps upload speeds. Other tests were around in that range.

I was in STL on Thursday and talked to a guy at the corp. store. He said to me a Corporate tester from "out of state" had been roaming around the area testing live 3g. It wasn't ready for retail yet, as they don't even have the handsets. The tester was using a LG phone for all of her signal strengths.

My curiousity is going to be coverage.

STL is kinda wierd about where the business people are. Some downtown, some West County, some NorthWest County....

I can imagine the 270/Manchester area will get lit since some of the Cingular corp offices are around there.

I for one hope they light up downtown and south of there.

I can really see a hole in coverage in North County for some time...

I'd be estatic if it was next week for roll-out. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on getting my gsm contract going again (6 months left on it). I guess I could do the 30day thing and then make the jump

3G is active on my LG CU500 in Raleigh, NC. Signal has been very strong 4-5 bars in most areas so far. I just noticed the 3G icon on Saturday afternoon.

Posted by: fman74

This may sound weird, but how do they turn it on?. Do they have to go around and install something at a tower, or can they do it remotely? Just though it was weird that they put up a new tower about a year ago, but no 3g. If I go 3 miles down the road I have it.

Don't forget... I am still Canadian, and for 90% of my travels in state, I'm in Los Angeles and Ventura County. Few trips to Cambria (SLO County). Its kind of annoying to know that I pass though 8 counties on a 5 hour drive from LA to Sunnyvale

I find most of the 'small' counties (by size ,not population) to be annoying. Being from Canada, I'm used to somewhat large areas - Algoma District, for example has only 118,000 people, but is over 48,000 km2. Thunder Bay district is even larger.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algoma_District,_Ontario
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunde...rict%2C_Ontario
Kenora district is quite large (larger than many states) at 407,000 km2.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenora_District%2C_Ontario

My old hometown
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_River%2C_Ontario - you'll find a CP Railstation

Posted by: ilvla2

You need to do some more traveling in CA, you're missing a lot! I've been to every corner of the state, literally. With a lot of family from Southeast Idaho, I've travelled pretty extensively there too, in fact, I've been coast to coast and from the Canadian border to the Mexican border by Amtrak train (no, planes don't count, you have to go through the nation to see it, not go over it ), and by car and train in a lot of the west.

Our county (Mendocino) is small in population, 88,000, but huge in size, 3500 square miles.

Posted by: formercanuck

I've only been in the US since 2000, and I've been through SanDiego, Palm Springs, Tahoe, Palmdale to Vegas through Boron, Sacramento through Grass Valley/Tahoe (taken the backway through Bishop too), and to Cambria ans San Jose... all by car. Either way, I still have more experience of driving through the majority of Ontario, Canada. I do plan to someday drive up to BC, most likely for the 2010 olympics.

Posted by: ilvla2

Ahh, okay, since you've only been here for 6 years I'll let it pass j/k lol

I would suggest taking Amtrak across the country too, you see a lot more than on the interstates, and meet some AWESOME people and make some GREAT friends Amtrak California has an EXCELLENT system (in fact, the 2nd busiest outside of the Northeast Corridor), a great way to get to almost anywhere in the state, via train and connecting Amtrak Shuttles. Besides, it's nice to have someone else do the driving for a while

Edit-Speaking of Canada, my dream trip is on VIA's Canadian, Vancouver to Toronto on a beautiful, streamliner train, it has several dome cars too, excellent for taking in the Canadian Rockies! I've been across the US Rockies by train (Amtrak's California Zephyr, all the way from Chicago to Sacramento).

How long is it from when they install new panels on their towers till 3g is live?

Posted by: formercanuck

On some sites, here in Los Angeles, they replaced panels last Thanksgiving... no 3G today. I suspect that it varies on the area, and size of the buildout.

OT - I just had family take that train from Toronto to Vancouver and back... 3 day trip each way. Via _really_ needs some newer trains. They get really cold in the winter and have frozen up in the past. I'd take the train if it could get me from the LA area to Tahoe (not Reno) or Mammoth.

I've seen a few posts of people saying they've been able to get 3G in parts of Sacramento, CA. I was wondering where this is because I travel to nearly every area of the greater Sacramento on a weekly basis and I have yet yo see my 3G icon light up. When I go to San Jose or Oakland, it works great. I've even seen speeds over 1mb in some spots there. Any ideas on Sacramento, when are we going to get some 3G love?
