Which SLIDER phone should I get?

Hi all,

I am in a market of slider phones and want to ask for suggestions, which one of these do you think:
1. Nokia 6280
2. Samsung D820
3. LG K800 Chocolate

Or any other model do you think its better?

I dont know too much about phone but just by physically picking a phone...I would say the chocolate...

Based solely on looks and form factor... Samsung T809

D820/T809 all the way, has the form factor, the smooth sliding mechanism, the QVGA screen, and lots of other good features.

3. battery life
4. ringing tone loudness (and vibration modes)

D600... yeah let's add that to the comparison
what about samsung E900?

The E900 is the most powerful of the Samsung sliders...if you can afford it, go for it

On the other hand, the D600 has no "fancy" touch controls on the front and is an all round excellent phone, small, beautiful screen, nice business-like design. However, its not super thin like the E900 or D820.

The D600 would make a good choice as well. I've had mine for a little while now and am very pleased with it. It performs quite well and, well, recommend it. The pricing should be quite reasonable on it too since it's been out for a while now.

D600 is only like 270 or something, so it's the best bang for the buck. It even has a better camera than most of the phones you listed.

Pricewise... from phonesource-usa and other ebay sellers... the D600 is around 300, E900 and D820 are around 320, LG KG800 and Nokia 6280 are around the same (about 320), which shipping is around 30-40... so i guess the prices are similar

D600 is a little thick and rounded. E900 might be a good choice... Any comments on LG KG800?

On EBAY the D600 and D820 are about the same price.

Isn't the D820's battery life significantly shorter compared to the D600?

I myself am very interested in D900, but experiencing problems finding a place that sells them. Do you suppose it might be released in Canada by September?
