Which cingular phone (or perhaps just gsm phone) has the best signal? I have a k750i and my girlfriend has a rzr and seems to always get better coverage than I do.

the k750i does not have 850 mhz razr does

For me, Razr has been the best phone for reception. I have been using it for a year and a half now.

I suggest the W810i when it comes out. It gets great reception. Any recent SE phone with 850 or Nokia are the best.

My 6131 (6126 for NA) gets awesome reception. Make sure you get a real Nokia, not one made for Nokia. My wife's BenQ made 6103 doen't get quite the same reception.

Not to be a sourpuss - have you done any research before making a statement like that.

I thought the same thing before, but quite a few people have complained about W810i's reception. At the same time, it has some call-drop issues requiring firmware upgrades. If you don't believe me - use the search button on HoFo.

For some odd reason - Razr's reception is great (if you are willing to put up with menus from 1990s.

Just my 2 cents.

Look for phones that are quad band. If they're tri-band, make sure it has the 850 MHz frequency.
