okay, I'm not sure if mine is the only phone that does this but when I use my speakerphone and close the flip, the call ends, unlike other Moto phones eg. V3i when i have the call on speakerphone and close the flip the call is maintained until I press end. Is there a setting that I can use to avoid ending the call?

any help is appreciated.

Yaa mine does the same thing.. I tried turning off the flip answer.. and that didnt work.. even the manual says it wont hang up if u close the flip... (sigh).. maybe call motorola and ask.. ??

You can do a seem edit on your phone to change that. Its real easy. I know nothing about 'modding' phones and I was able to do it in a couple of minutes.

Make sure that when you hook up you phone to a computer that its set to 'modem'. The first time you plug your phone to a computer in 'modem' mode the computer will have to load several drivers. I had the motorola tools CD in the computer when I did that, but I'm not 100% sure if thats needed to do it.

When radiocomm is open all changes are made in GSM2.

After you make the changes restart your phone.
