I can't figure out how to lock a text message so someone can't delete it. It's also useful for when i want to keep a message and delete EVERYTHING else.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I haven't seen any option to lock text messages on the CU500.

I email the important sms to myself as my phone doesnt have that option either.
