First time poster long time lurker:

I am getting a treo 700p next week and was looking for toys to go with it. I noticed motorolas in car bluetooth devices models HF850 and IHF1000. My question is will these work with the treo and will all the features work as well such as voice dial??

The Treo 700p does not support bluetooth voice dialing. Those devices should work in theory, although your experience with them may vary. Some BT headsets and car kits work great with the 700p, and others work like garbage.

I've used the Jabra's BT200, BT250 and now the BT-250v...ALL with great success, no matter what phone I use them with. The "250's" work real well with my 700p.

I use the Moto H700 without issue and have the iHF1000 car kit also without issue. One issue I have found that is a BT problem with the Treo 700p is if you turn BT off then back on I have to soft reset to get the BT device to pair. Palm still has not given me answer. Keeping BT on I am sure is their answer but its not acceptable.

Agreed, the h700 works great here too.

Jabra usually always makes great headsets of any kind. i have the bt250v and it is GREAT w/ my 700p

You might want to jump over to treocentral.com for a broader Treo community and search through the threads there for comments on those two car kits.
