My new XV6700

I got my XV6700 about 2 days ago. I bought it on Ebay at a big discount. This phone is amazing. I wish it had a little bigger display, but I guess that's what laptops are for. It was a little tricky getting Activesync to work on Bluetooth, but I got it. I played around a little trying to get "free" internet access, but I didn't want to take the risk. I purchased the unlimited plan for $45/month. I'll get my money's worth out of it.

I had a Kyocera smartphone several years ago, but gave it up because it was just not very user friendly. This phone is so much more advanced, it makes you wonder if there isn't alien technology leaking out of area 51.

Welcome to HoFo mate....

I myself just signed up with VZW too and loving this phone, although I want in a little thinner, but it's all good.

How are you planning to carry this? I bought an organizer for this on ebay and worked great. Getting used to it now...

I am just wondering...I jsut got my 6700 and do you guys have problem with your EVDO automaticcaly logging on even when you specifically logged it off?? and also the backlight turning off on its own...Im not talking about the "when not touch for 30 seconds " turn off....but litterlu you have to go the the setup and go to back light and pull hte bar back to what it is normally to light the screen up?

I don't have a problem with EV logging in, because I have the unlimited data service. As for carrying, I'll just keep it in my pocket like I did my last PDA.
