SLVR L7 Wallpaper Issue

Long time reader, first time poster. (i think)

I am trying to make wallpaper for my L7, but everytime I upload a pic at the 176x220, it distorts because the phone tries to "fit to screen". When I go to center the image, as I usually do on my RAZR, it should fit the screen perfectly, without any problem. However, when I do this on the L7, the image does not fill the screen and I am given a green outline around the picture because of my skin.

Does anyone know if there is a different image size I should be using?

A 176x220 .JPG should fit exactly.

I guess I wasn't clear. I created a 176x220 .JPG file, uploaded it to my L7 and used it as wallpaper without any fit problems. The only thought that comes to mind is whether the file you are using is truly 176x220.

The image file I used had the following properties:

176x220 pixels
200 pixels/inch
16M colors

try changeing your skin to a different one... somehow i heard about this before.
