M600i UI questions

I am interested in getting an M600 but have some questions on the user experience. Appreciate your comments on the following:

1) I read that UIQ 3.0 supports categories for Calendar, Contacts & Tasks. Does it also support filtering of categories such that I assign categories to task items and filter the view by category?

2) Is there an optioin to sync only the categories you choose?

3) Is the handwriting recognition on the M600 as good as WM5?

Thanks!

I can't speak for 1 because I haven't checked but

2) = No
3) = Yes

Basically its probably too early to make definitive answers on 1) and 2) All we really have seen is the built-in PIM which is pretty vanilla sames as what comes built on on Windows Mobile.

There is not yet a 3rd party PIM at all (Handy day is useless crap - wont even count it). Nothing like Pocket Informant etc. When something like that is release then we can evaluate better the PIM/category and syncing capabilities. But the built-in Sync module and PIM do not even carry over the categoroes you have in Outlook.

So if you buy this phone, better be willing to wait for a while before you will get anything like Pocket Informant. It doesn't exist at all right now.
