Moto V3, Is it normal for it to restart least once when used as modem? (GPRS/EDGE)

Hey all, I use my V3 with Mobile Phone Tools, I have a custom monster pack with stock moto firmware various things we all do back here.
I use it via USB and Mobile Phone tools, then get online with the 20$VPN internet.
However.. ONE time a session. (Which is a day) I logon, stays on, but then after 10 mins or so, the phone will restart itself. Once it restarted (And losing my internet connection) it will come back and not restart again when used as a internet connection.
Was wondering, anyone else seen this type of behavior? Or any ideas what could cause it to reboot like that?
