Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

What bank? With Bank Of America change the browser to emulate IE.

I also recommend downloading Opera Mini. It tends to be able to do things like bank sites a little bit more easily. http://mini.opera.com from the phone's browser.

I'm able to download miniopera OTA ok, but when I try to conncet to the Internet (T-Mobile), I get this message:
"There was a problem connecting. There might be a problem with your network setup. Please go to Tools>Help>Introduction and perform the connection test. (error: 3.0.10:80/)." Can someone suggest how to setup my 8700g to work? My BB browser and Tmobile browser work fine. Thanks.

Or how do I "With Bank Of America change the browser to emulate IE."

Noob here..

in the browser click the wheel select options>>>select browser configuration>>>scroll down to emulation mode and click the wheel then choose "Microsoft IE"

Not all banking websites are created equal. That being said, here's a possible solution to get Opera Mini going (ripped from blackberryforums' user dnicksic):
Go to Options->TCP (or Tools->TCP)
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: your phone number/username
Password: ********
