Cingular Premier tidbit on purchasing LG CU500

First time poster here. I just went through the ordeal that is switching from Former AT&T to Cingular as a Foundation Account member. Anyway, at the completion of the process, I found out that I made out better than expected. The Cingular Premier site lists the CU500 at $129.99 (no rebate) for my organization's account. Cingular.com shows the CU500 at $79.99 after $50 mail-in rebate. So basically I felt kind of screwed being "stuck" with Premiere equipment prices until I checked out. While in the cart, my CU500 still listed at $129.99, but upon completion of checkout, I noticed that I ended up paying $79.99 for it without even a rebate required! My receipt's line item shows:

One-Time Charges

Phone
LG CU500 $379.99
Savings -$300.00

Now I have to wait for my phones to arrive and clarify that the FamilyTalk plan should include the 2nd phone in the price (i.e. $59.99 for 2 lines) and not list a $9.99 line item on my 2nd phone.

I look forward to receiving my new 3G phone and providing my comments. I'm upgrading from a Nokia 6820.

Welcome to the board, don't forget to pick up a microSD card and if you want to use your own headphones a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter. Also you pay want to get a USB cable. I got mine off ebay for about $12 shipped, but you can purchase an OEM one from LGE or Cingular. LGE also sells headphones on its website for about $19 I think you will enjoy your new phone. I also had a 6620 - good phone - but the 3G on this phone is real nice.
