help with email

Hello everyone ,
I gave my sister a Tmob 7290 (unlocked) to use in Jamaica . Everything works great except that she cannot configure email . When she goes to the set up she receives a message that the device is already registered on the network ?????? It has never been registered down in Ja before . Neither the cell company down there or Tmob can seem to figure this out .

The device has been used before, you need to have the PIN and IMEI released from the previous users account. This can only Be done by the previous user, TMo can't do anything for you until the PIN/IMEI are released by the orig. owner.

Thanks for the reesponse . Without sounding too ignorant , I am the previous owner . How do get the IMEI and PIN released ? I called TMO and they did not help .

Get some on one the phone at T-Mo that knows what they are doing and they will free up the device to be used by your sister.
