I hope there's an easy answer to this that will allow me to use this software.

I just got Motorola Phone Tools 4.0, installed it on my husband's PC (I'm a Mac head), updated it and although this software is supposed to work with the v3m, it isn't in the list of phones to choose. All the other versions of the v3 are there. I changed the cable, in case that was crummy and have the same result.

Does anyone know if Verizon has disabled the ability to use this software because they want us to keep paying for backup assistant? I don't have the Tiger operating system for Mac, so I can't sync with iSync on my computer. Or does Verizon only let you sync with THEIR "data essentials" rather than Motorola Phone Tools??

If you can shed some light I'd appreciate it.
