My NE2 came up last Sunday; and I was relieved to be able to get my free (after rebate) e815. The weekend before, we bought 2 e815s for the price of $50 (after rebate) for family members at Circuit City.
From what I can gather, there is going to be no replacement for the e815. Or, rather, there already is one: the RZR V3m. From what Motorola says, all the new Motorolas will have the Verizon ui (which apparently is overly simplified) along with an internal antenna (hence reception that isn't as good as the e815's). : ( The phones that Motorola announced for the 4th quarter have specs that are inferior to the e815's. I'm glad to have my e815, and have synchronized my address book and turned clips of some of my favorite songs into ringtones. Enjoy your e815s: it seems to be the end of an era. -Nechama e815 v710 Startac I can't recall what I had before that. I probably wanted to forget it. on Verizon Wireless |
