I'm on my 4th V3 Black from Cingular. They offer to exchange it for a Nokia 6682. I'm gonna take them on the offer but it's a way big for my taste but it's a good phone.

I want to get an unlock V3i because I love the slimmest of it. Can someone tell me if it is plagued with the same humming, whinning & whirling noise as the Black V3? My four V3 has these problems and drove me nuts.

Its a common thing with the noise will all razr phones. Im not sure if the v3x does it. Anyway You might want to hold off and wait for the new line of razr's that are coming out. Such as the razr maxx ( i think thats the name!) Just go to the sticky on the motorola section on this forum.

I went from my silver V3 to a V3i and I got sick of the phone verry quickly considering it's just not much different from the V3. There are plenty of good looking slim phones that you can find out there. My next phone is the Samsung D900 (the slimmest slider in the world) and I'm hoping that that works out longer than the V3i so I would just move on to a different phone... it's not worth the money.
