Mobile Phone Tools Will Not Read MP3's!

Hello there!

I have been using mobile phone tools for some time now, and I have always been able to edit MP3 files, and transfer them to my phone, along with pictures, phonebook, etc. I have Windows XP SP2, a motorola V3 Razr, and Version 3.30 of Mobile Phone Tools (the liveupdate won't let me update either)

Anyhow, now when i use the Melody Studio, and select a MP3 File to edit/crop, none of the music will shop under "selection", nor will it allow me to play the music, or give me it's settings. MP3 files work perfectly on my PC, and i also updated Windows Media Player to version 11. I already tried reinstalling Mobile Phone Tools, and reupdated it, but nothing has changed!

Plus, my Motorola Phone Tools software was bought from the official website.

This has never happened before, and it does not even say there are any errors, but it just won't read the MP3!

PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you.

Mine is doing the exact same thing - no error, they just don't show up. This started when I got my RAZR V3 a couple weeks ago. It worked fine with my V551.

I already had some MP3 ringtones created, so I just used windows explorer to drag them to the phone view in the File Transfer window in Phone Tools.

I even checked the codecs in the registry to make sure they were correct.

If anyone can help, that would be cool.

Tim
