From my experience in working for Verizon, the carrier has no way to stop or block premium text subscriptions. It was nice of them to credit the charges you already incurred but it doesn't surprise me that you're still getting the messages. On Verizon you have yo reply "stop" to one of the messages to cancel the subscription.
